About me
I am a good listener. I have a calm manner and a generous heart.
I'm compassionate, enthusiastic and uplifting - a natural Coach, people tell me.

For the past 35 years I have worked in social care, youth work, education and training. I've supported organisations and individuals dealing with challenging situations including disability, ill health, homelessness, addiction, poverty, unemployment, stress, anxiety and crisis of purpose.
I have a track record of building strong partnerships and establishing highly effective teams. I love to connect people to others that will help them.
Decades ago a spiritual and moral crisis led me to this career, having been a draughtsman in the private sector. Now I am adjusting again, to working part time, running my own business and to being rather than doing.
I have qualifications in Community and Youth Work and in Leadership and Management. I am completing postgraduate training in Leadership Coaching with Psychosynthesis Coaching Ltd and Middlesex University.
As a member of the European Mentoring and Coaching Council I adhere to its code of ethics and standards. I have a current enhanced DBS check and professional indemnity insurance.

I volunteer with two co-operatives. I am a leader in The Woodcraft Folk, a youth empowerment movement. And I am Treasurer and on the Board of Community Assets for Society and Housing which supports the evolution of co-op housing.

My daily personal development practices incorporate elements of Psychology, Christianity, Taoism, Buddhism and Druidry. I cook, cycle, sing and meditate. I love to go walking and to sit around a campfire with friends.
I am a native Londoner and live in South East London with my partner and our grown-up son.
